The ‘Ticonderoga’ finally departed from the Quarantine Station at Point Nepean for Hobsons Bay, Melbourne on 22 December, 1852, after another 76 passengers died, a total of 180 or 25% of passengers. All sailors and descendents of the Ticonderoga are welcome.
