Another long weekend done and dusted.

After being locked down for a few months, our guests escaped their homes and
were lucky enough to enjoy a few hours of beautiful sunshine throughout the weekend.

The Portsea Village Bar & Grill was buzzing with customers and they enjoyed the restaurant being re-opened. We are following the government regulations and have tables setup with social distancing in mind. Hand sanitizers are available for guests in reception and in the restaurant.

There were plenty of people out and about in Portsea, Sorrento, and surrounding areas enjoying everything the peninsula has to offer. With Point Nepean National Park just a short walk from our resort, this makes for a great day out exploring the Quarantine Station, Gunners Cottage and all the forts, with plenty of history along the way. With plenty of areas to stop for a picnic, it’s a great day out to be enjoyed. At the information centre, situated at the Quarantine Station, you can hire push bikes or jump on the hop on hop off bus and go on a guided tour.

Fishing, anyone for fishing. Portsea pier is a favorite spot for the keen fisherman with plenty of squid being caught.

No matter what you decide to do, we welcome you to Portsea.
